WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair underwent successful surgery after being placed in a medically induced coma Monday, but his condition remains serious.

Flair was hospitalized Saturday morning, with Pro Wrestling Sheet's Ryan Satin reporting that the 68-year-old was taken to an intensive care unit due to heart-related issues. Legacy Talent CEO Melinda Morris Zanoni, who represents Flair, announced that the surgery wasn't heart-related and that he faces "a long road ahead" in his recovery.
