Agent 0 could be making a comeback to the court.

Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas is hoping to lace up his sneakers next summer in the BIG3.

"Hopefully next year," Arenas, 35, told TMZ Sports while hanging out with Kenyon Martin, another former All-Star who's currently serving as captain of the undefeated Trilogy.

Arenas couldn't confirm his status in Ice Cube's new 3-on-3 league - which just wrapped up its inaugural regular season and will kick off the playoffs Sunday - but he's been thinking about it and is in talks with the league.

The 6-foot-3 point guard was once one of the NBA's most exciting players, regularly torching opponents and yelling "Hibachi" as the leader of the Washington Wizards.

Arenas posted career averages of 20.7 points, 5.3 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.6 steals over 11 seasons, making three consecutive All-NBA rosters in the nation's capital. He last suited up in 2012.
