The New York Yankees were two outs away from a series win over the rival Boston Red Sox with their $86-million closer on the mound.
Yankee Stadium was buzzing, and one fan made sure to catch the excitement on video.
The celebratory atmosphere was quickly spoiled, however, when Red Sox rookie Rafael Devers took a 103-mph offering from Chapman and launched it over the wall in left-center field to tie the game 2-2.
Boston would go on to win the game 3-2 in 10 innings.
