Texas running back Chris Warren III can't seem to stay healthy.

After a 2016 season that saw Warren miss the final eight games with a knee injury, head coach Tom Herman confirmed to Brian Davis of The Austin-American Statesman that the rusher suffered a concussion Thursday and is being evaluated.

Warren's timetable to return is currently unknown.

The junior managed to post back-to-back 100-yard games on the ground before going down with injury last season and was the logical starter heading into the season.

To add insult to injury, Herman told Davis that two other young running backs were called out during practice Saturday and when asked if he was concerned, Herman responded with "A lot."

Given Herman's reaction, the Longhorns may be in a bit of trouble now that Warren may not be able to provide them with any security in the backfield.
