Koepka bloodies marshal with tee shot at PGA, signs glove

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

It was a tough start to the PGA Championship for one gentleman at Quail Hollow Club, thanks to an errant tee shot by Brooks Koepka.

Koepka's drive at the par-4 16th hole hit a marshal in the crowd, leaving him with a bloodied head. The U.S. Open champion would walk over to the man, who was seeking medical attention at the time, and apologize for the poor tee shot.

Fortunately, the man would be fine, and Koepka would sign a glove to make amends.

The 27-year-old American would go on to bogey the hole.
