Paris Saint-Germain could be open to executing yet another lucrative transfer following the club's stunning capture of Neymar from Barcelona.

During the Brazilian's unveiling Friday following his €222-million transfer from Barcelona, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi wasn't willing to rule out a possible pursuit of Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez.

Sanchez's future in north London has been the subject of numerous reports this summer linking him with a transfer to various clubs, such as Manchester City and PSG, after the club reportedly failed to convince him to sign a new contract before entering the final year of his current deal.

Al-Khelaifi insisted that maintaining a positive relationship with Arsenal would be paramount if he were to go after Sanchez.

"Alexis Sanchez is a player of Arsenal today. We have respect for Arsenal and I have excellent relations with Arsene Wenger and, if I want Alexis Sanchez, I am going to talk to Arsene Wenger," he said, according to Sky Sports.

He added: "I think I'm very clear. If I'm going to be interested in him I'm going to talk to Arsene (Wenger)."

Speculation over Sanchez's future may continue well into the season following Wenger's insistence that the 29-year-old will not be sold this summer.

Instead, the Arsenal gaffer appears content to let Sanchez leave on a free transfer rather than offload him ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.

"I will not give anything away on (Sanchez), but the only thing I can tell you is that he is focused and my decision is clear: he will stay and he will respect that," Wenger told reporters.

"It is as simple as that."

Sanchez returned to Arsenal earlier in the week from a prolonged period away from the club following his participation with Chile at the Confederations Cup this summer.

His lack of training, however, will likely rule him out of contention to play Sunday when Arsenal clashes with Chelsea during the Community Shield.
