LSU suspends starting O-lineman Maea Teuhema indefinitely

LSU suspended junior offensive guard Maea Teuhema indefinitely Wednesday, citing a violation of team rules.

Teuhema, a two-year starter, has been expected to help anchor a Tigers line this season that returns four starters but lacks depth beyond that. He missed practice Monday because of what head coach Ed Orgeron called "academic stuff."

LSU opens the season Sept. 2 against BYU.
