Hadwin credits Tinder for meeting his wife while on tour

The long PGA Tour season can make it difficult for an on-the-move pro to obtain success in the dating world.

But everything worked out well for Adam Hadwin, who turned to the dating app Tinder while on tour. Fortunately for the Canadian, his now-wife, Jess, also swiped right while Hadwin was playing an event in Kansas.

"Jess and I have always said that we met in Wichita when I was playing an event, and we kind of just left it at that," Hadwin told Ryan Asselta of golf.com. "Then we had to bring up how, and of course you bring it up now but, it is the truth. We were Tinder-matched in Wichita there, and we went out once when I was there that week, had dinner. You know, it's funny. It's been almost three years now since we met, and I don't think we've gone a day without talking."

"So there is hope for all you guys out there," Hadwin added. "But, you've got to be looking for the right thing."

The two were married just 12 days after Hadwin won his first career PGA Tour title at the Valsapar Championship in March.
