Kuchar suffers dizzy spells in 1st round of Canadian Open

Eric Bolte-USA TODAY Sports

Just days after nearly winning The Open, Matt Kuchar experienced dizzy spells in the opening round of the RBC Canadian Open at Glen Abbey Golf Club.

Kuchar went 4-under over his first 11 holes Thursday, but would drop three shots coming in to post a 1-under 71, and didn't speak on camera after the round.

"I had a couple of spells where I got a little bit dizzy and I feel weak. I don't know where it came from," Kuchar said. "I've had plenty of time to get over the travel. Hopefully it's just something that passes real quick."

The 39-year-old is scheduled to tee off Friday at 1:25 p.m. ET with Bubba Watson and Graeme McDowell.
