Colorado dismisses N.J. Falo for violation of team rules

Colorado will need to fill a void at the top of its depth chart at linebacker after dismissing N.J. Falo for a violation of team rules, according to Brian Howell of The Denver Post, citing a report from the school.
Falo was expected to compete for a starting spot with the Buffaloes after recording 12 tackles and 1.5 sacks as a backup last season.
His tenure at Colorado was far from smooth, as he and running back Donald Gordon were suspended prior to the 2016 season after being arrested for stealing items from a dorm room.
