Sandoval wishes he re-signed with Giants in 2014
If "Back to the Future IV" ever comes to fruition, Pablo Sandoval should be considered for the lead role.
After his return to the San Francisco Giants became official Saturday, Sandoval told reporters that if he could go back to 2014, he'd approach free agency a whole lot differently.
"I wish I could get back to that time to have that opportunity to sign again ..." he said, according to John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle. "I would sign."

After winning three World Series championships, being named World Series MVP in 2012, and earning two National League All-Star nods, Sandoval opted for greener pastures in 2014, signing a five-year, $90-million deal with the Boston Red Sox.
Months later, Panda delivered some parting blows to the organization he spent seven successful years with, saying after signing in Boston that his decision to leave was "not hard at all," and that he left money on the table in San Francisco.
He lasted less than three years with the Red Sox, a stint that included a combined line of .237/.286/.360, several trips to the disabled list, and increased concerns over his weight.
Regardless of how it played out, it's interesting to imagine what Sandoval's career would have looked like if he stuck with the Giants.
