Report: Mavs, Heat, Pacers interested in Brandon Rush

Three teams are reportedly in the market for a veteran swingman.

The Dallas Mavericks, Miami Heat, and Indiana Pacers checked in on free-agent forward Brandon Rush, according to ESPN 1500's Darren Wolfson.

Rush spent last season as a veteran voice for a young Minnesota Timberwolves roster. The 32-year-old played in just 47 games, but managed to connect on 38.4 percent from deep, which is right in line with his career average of 40.2 percent.

All three of the Mavericks, Heat, and Pacers could use a shooter off the bench like Rush, who will presumably come cheap. He's never made more than $4 million per year in his career, largely due to significant injuries suffered through the years.
