Point guard Ty Lawson is by no means a big name in the NBA's free-agency pool. And at one point Tuesday evening, he seemed destined to leave the Association for the Shanxi Dragons of the Chinese Basketball Association.

But now, Lawson's agent - Larry Fox - has stepped in to clear the air.

"Ty is weighing his options and no decision has yet been made," Fox stated to Hoopshype.com.

"Several teams have expressed interest in Ty from China and there have been discussions and Ty has expressed mutual interest."

Another development in this saga, though, was Fox noting that "several NBA teams" are reportedly still interested in the veteran guard's services. No specific clubs were mentioned, however.

The 29-year-old guard had a bounce-back season with the Sacramento Kings last year, averaging 9.9 points and 4.8 assists in 25 minutes.
