Ty Lawson appears to be waving goodbye to the NBA and taking his talents overseas to China.
The 29-year-old announced Tuesday he agreed to join the Shanxi Dragons, but is waiting for his agent to work out the contract.
Former NBAers Luis Scola and Samuel Dalembert also play for the Dragons.
Shortly after the announcement began to circulate on social media, Lawson tweeted that he actually hasn't signed with the Dragons, but that doesn't necessarily mean he won't.
I haven't signed in China!!!!!

Lawson spent the 2016-17 regular season competing for the Sacramento Kings, making 69 appearances and averaging 9.9 points, 4.8 assists, and 2.6 rebounds in 25.1 minutes. He's also had stops with the Houston Rockets and Indiana Pacers, and played the first six years of his career with the Denver Nuggets.
