The Los Angeles Clippers have reportedly agreed to a one-year, $1.5-million deal with center Willie Reed, sources told ESPN's Chris Haynes.

Reed, a 27-year-old big man out of St. Louis University, played 71 games with the Miami Heat last season, averaging 5.3 points and 4.7 rebounds in 14.5 minutes.

The relatively unknown center notched some big games when starting center Hassan Whiteside was sidelined with injury, though. In five starts last year, Reed averaged 14.8 points and 8.2 rebounds.

His best game of the season was a 22-point, 18-rebound performance against the Phoenix Suns on Jan. 3. Reed followed that with a 22-point, 12-rebound game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Jan. 6.

It's that upside which the Clippers hope Reed can provide when given the opportunity behind starter DeAndre Jordan. At the price of just $1.5 million, the Clippers look to have added some nice depth at an extremely cheap price.
