Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Adolphus Washington was arrested Sunday in Ohio for improperly carrying a concealed weapon, and TMZ Sports obtained footage of the arrest.
In the video, an officer is heard telling Washington, "You don't know how lucky you are, man. That was close, buddy. That was very close."
Washington had a gun in his hand when he was surrounded by officers.
"Why in the hell would you have that gun in your hand when we come stand right in front of you? What would you be thinking?" an officer asks.
"No. I wasn't reaching for it. I was putting it away. I already had it in my hand," Washington said.
