Gylfi Sigurdsson has a couple of admirers chasing his signature this summer, but any potential suitor will have to pay Swansea City a hefty £50-million fee in order to procure the services of the Iceland international.

So reports BBC Sport on Monday, adding that the Swans rejected an offer of around £40 million from Leicester City for the 27-year-old midfielder, who has also been linked with Everton.

The Toffees have already completed a number of high-profile deals this summer, bringing on Jordan Pickford, Michael Keane, Davy Klaassen, Sandro Ramirez, and Wayne Rooney ahead of Romelu Lukaku's imminent £75-million sale to Manchester United.

Sigurdsson, who notched nine goals and 13 assists last season, has three years remaining on his contract and said earlier in the year he was neither "trying to leave" nor does he "want to leave" the Liberty Stadium this summer.
