Thomas: Hayward, Crowder beef going 'out the window' in pursuit of title

Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

Jae Crowder wasn't particularly appreciative of the hometown Boston Celtics fans clamoring for soon-to-be free agent Gordon Hayward last season during the Utah Jazz's lone visit to TD Garden on the season.

Luckily for the Celtics, it appears that the simmering resentment between the two wings, who are now teammates, is water under the bridge - just take Isaiah Thomas' word for it.

"We're trying to win a championship, so we put all of that aside," Thomas said in an interview with CSN's A. Sherrod Blakely.

"We're going to try and figure all this out sooner rather than later and then try to compete for a championship. All those other things, I think it goes out the window now that you're teammates."

Thomas was in Las Vegas taking in the action at the NBA Summer League and was spotted courtside with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather for Lonzo Ball's debut in a Lakers jersey.
