Look: Newspaper sums up Knicks' offer to Hardaway with perfect pun

The New York Knicks apparently value Tim Hardaway Jr. more than they did before. Much, much more.

The team reportedly offered the Atlanta Hawks restricted free agent a four-year contract worth $71 million, and to no one's surprise, Hardaway signed the sheet.

If Friday's NY Daily News is any indication, some folks (and not necessarily just in the Big Apple) found the deal to be a tad rich:

Money aside, many were quick to point out that New York previously had Hardaway, but didn't seem to hold him in high regard. The team drafted the shooting guard back in 2013 before trading him for a draft pick that turned into Jerian Grant, who was later moved in the Derrick Rose trade.

The Hawks now have an opportunity to match New York's offer, which would allow them to retain the 25-year-old, who averaged 14.5 points on 45.5 percent shooting to go along with 2.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists (all career highs) last season.

Holy sheet, indeed.
