The Dallas Mavericks have officially re-signed franchise icon Dirk Nowitzki, the team announced Thursday.
Though the Mavs didn't disclose any terms in their statement, the contract is reportedly a two-year, $10-million deal, sources told ESPN's Tim MacMahon.
The 39-year-old German has spent his entire 19-year career with Dallas, picking up All-Star accolades in 13 of those campaigns. Nowitzki also led the Mavs to their only NBA championship in franchise history in 2011 when Dallas defeated the Miami Heat in six games. Nowitzki was awarded Finals MVP in the series.
