The Sacramento Kings have reached an agreement with veteran swingman Vince Carter, agents Kurt Schoeppler and Jim Tanner told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Thursday.

The 19-year veteran will reportedly earn a balloon payment of $8 million on a one-year deal to serve as a strong veteran presence around the existing prospects in Sacramento.

The Kings also added Zach Randolph and George Hill to serve in similar capacities.

Carter brings more than just leadership, as he remains a productive player following two decades in the league. He appeared in 73 games last season and averaged eight points per game while hitting 37.8 percent from deep.

Sacramento's roster now numbers 15, and they still have roughly $8 million remaining in cap room for other additions.
