Report: Millsap meeting with Wolves on Saturday

Unrestricted free-agent power forward Paul Millsap is scheduled to meet with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday, sources told Michael Scotto of Basketball Insiders.

Millsap remains one of the top players left on the free-agent market and would be a very intriguing fit in the Minnesota frontcourt alongside Karl-Anthony Towns.

The Wolves managed to clear some cap space with Friday's trade of Ricky Rubio to the Utah Jazz. They then reportedly signed Jeff Teague to replace him at the point. In order to sign Millsap and avoid the luxury tax, the team would need to make some other roster moves, such as renouncing Shabazz Muhammad.
