Andre Iguodala sure is taking his sweet time in scheduling a meeting with the the NBA champions, if the two parties meet at all.

As of now, the Golden State State Warriors and the veteran Iguodala don't have plans to meet in free agency, league sources told ESPN's Chris Haynes.

However, the two sides are optimistic that a meeting will eventually be scheduled, sources told ESPN's Zach Lowe.

Seven teams reportedly have interest in signing the 33-year-old, including the Minnesota Timberwolves, San Antonio Spurs, and Brooklyn Nets, although it's currently unknown whether or not he's slated to meet with any of them.

There is a certain level of worry in the organization over how much it will cost the Warriors to preserve core players like Iguodala, especially with the possibility of a more costly luxury tax on the horizon. It's safe to assume the 2015 Finals MVP is going to be seeking a decent payday in what could end up being the last big contract of his career, so it's just a matter of how far Golden State is willing to go with its offer.

Helping the cause is the fact that Kevin Durant is reportedly willing to take less money so management can keep the likes of Iguodala, as well as other free agents Shaun Livingston and JaVale McGee, around for the long haul.

Iguodala was the runner-up in Sixth Man of the Year voting this season, averaging 7.6 points, four rebounds, and 3.4 assists on 52.8 percent shooting across 76 appearances.
