Chris Paul posts farewell tweet to Clipper Nation

The city of Los Angeles has been Chris Paul's home for six seasons while suiting up for the Clippers, but after Wednesday's blockbuster trade, the All-Star guard will now be taking his talents to Houston to join James Harden and the Rockets.

Paul released an official statement concerning the deal on his Twitter account, thanking Clipper Nation for embracing him and his family over the years, while also giving a special shoutout to L.A.'s Best and the Brotherhood Crusade.

Paul ends his tenure with the Clippers ranked sixth in franchise history in points (7,674), second in steals (902), and first in assists (4,023).
