It appears that the Nuggets and Chicago Bulls have discussed the possibility of a blockbuster trade centered around the three-time All-Star.
One bundle being floated would see the Nuggets package several players and draft considerations in exchange for Butler, though center Nikola Jokic would notably be omitted from the deal, according to ESPN's Jeff Goodman.
The Bulls have reportedly been trying to trade Butler ahead of Thursday's draft, with the Nuggets listed as a dark horse suitor for the 2017-18 All-NBA wing.
