The Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs are discussing a trade involving Danny Green, sources told ESPN's Brian Windhorst.

It remains to be determined whether a deal will come to fruition, as the Spurs' asking price is reportedly high.

Reports surfaced earlier this week that San Antonio was open to trading its starting shooting guard in order to clear cap space for the upcoming offseason.

The 6-foot-6 guard is coming off an up-and-down season, averaging 7.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, a steal, and 0.9 blocks on 39.2 percent shooting.

The 30-year-old began his career with Cleveland during the 2009-10 season, averaging two points and 0.9 rebounds in 20 games.

Green isn't the only Spur on the block, as the team is reportedly shopping starting power forward LaMarcus Aldridge.
