LA Galaxy supporters, grab a seat.

Amid rumours linking Tigres goal-machine Andre-Pierre Gignac with a move to Los Angeles, the Mexican club's president, Alejandro Rodriguez, refuted that speculation, saying the Frenchman was in California, but not to sign a deal with the record five-time MLS champ.

"He went to visit Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck with his family," Rodriguez said Wednesday, courtesy of ESPN FC.

Since moving to eastern Mexico from Marseille in 2015, Gignac has scored 53 times in 81 outings for Tigres, though concerns emerged about his future when the 36-time capped France international left Mexico on the heels of a disappointing Liga MX final defeat to Chivas, after which he was criticized for skipping the medal ceremony.

That prompted talk that Gignac would force a move to North America's top flight, though Rodriguez said it's all hogwash, and that with a year left on the 31-year-old's deal in Mexico, he's staying put.

"(The press) keeps talking," Rodriguez said. "We are flattered by all the teams interested in our players.

"For the fans and you are relaxed, we have not received any approach or anything for Gignac," he added. "We've had nothing official from MLS."
