Liverpool is confident there's a club willing to meet its valuation of Alberto Moreno.

Napoli came close but ultimately fell short after the Italian side's £11-million bid was rejected Thursday, as Liverpool holds out for a more lucrative offer, according to Chris Bascombe of The Telegraph.

The Spanish full-back has reportedly caught the attention of several clubs despite his limited role with Liverpool last season.

Both Milan clubs are also believed to be in pursuit of Moreno, who Liverpool is reportedly hopeful of turning a profit on as the club awaits an offer in the region of £15 million - £3 million more than what the Reds paid Sevilla in 2014.

Manager Jurgen Klopp is said to be prepared to enter another season with Moreno as James Milner's backup, but the level of interest in the 24-year-old is expected to lead to his departure from Anfield this summer.

After featuring in 32 league matches two seasons ago, Moreno only managed 12 Premier League appearances - a pair as a starter - last term.

Meanwhile, Liverpool is expected to announce the arrival of Mohamed Salah from Roma in a deal that will see the Merseyside outfit pay a club-record transfer fee of £35 million.
