Brandon Wimbush declares Instagram blackout until Notre Dame is 1-0

Brandon Wimbush, the quarterback expected to take over starting duties for Notre Dame this year, declared a temporary Instagram blackout Wednesday, but perhaps more noteworthy is the caption he left on the post.

The Fighting Irish take on Temple to open the season. The two programs last sparred in 2015, when Notre Dame emerged with a hard-fought 24-20 victory behind a strong effort from DeShone Kizer.
