It hasn't even been 24 hours since initial rumors emerged of New York Knicks president Phil Jackson being open to trading forward Kristaps Porzingis, but since then, the team has been connected with asking too high a price for the Latvian star and potentially acquiring Kansas forward Josh Jackson in Thursday's draft.

The latest round of rumors out of the Big Apple now center on the dysfunction within the inner workings of the Knicks organization.

A team source reportedly termed it "full survivor mode" in New York's front office and focused on how poorly the Knicks have handled Porzingis this offseason, according to the New York Daily News' Frank Isola.

"The place is a mess so now they want to make it seem like the kid is the problem. Suddenly he's uncoachable. He won't listen. They're trying to put it all on him," Isola's source said.

This wouldn't be the first Knicks star that Jackson has disturbed, though. Forward Carmelo Anthony and Jackson struggled mightily to get along last season, leading to reports that Melo would on the trade block this offseason.
