Report: Aron Baynes opts out of contract with Pistons

Detroit Pistons reserve big man Aron Baynes has opted out of the last year of his contract to become an unrestricted free agent, sources told The Vertical's Shams Charania.
The final year of the deal was worth $6.5 million. Baynes and agent Marc Fleisher will be banking the 30-year-old Australian can land a raise on the open market. That's likely, given the cap environment and the fact that Baynes is quite serviceable as a backup center.
In 75 games this past season, he averaged 4.9 points and 4.4 rebounds.
