Enner Valencia, one of Afro-Ecuadorian football's success stories, is reportedly preparing to depart West Ham United.

According to ESPN FC's Peter O'Rourke, West Ham is ready to sell Valencia to Liga MX's Club Tigres UANL. The Ecuadorian forward spent the majority of last season at Everton on loan from the Hammers, and tallied three goals in 21 Premier League appearances for the Toffees, 16 of which were as a substitute.

Valencia, who milked cows to pay for his first football boots, joined West Ham from Club Pachuca after scoring all three of Ecuador's goals at the 2014 World Cup, where La Tricolor was eliminated in the group stage. During his time with Los Tuzos, the product of Emelec was Liga MX's top scorer during the 2013-14 Clausura.

At Tigres, Valencia would find himself in a squad boasting Andre-Pierre Gignac and Eduardo Vargas.
