Prigioni named new coach of Spanish powerhouse

Former NBA guard Pablo Prigioni was named head coach of Spanish powerhouse Saski Baskonia on Friday.
The 40-year-old last played in the NBA in 2015-16, suiting up in 59 games for the Los Angeles Clippers. He spent 2012-15 with the New York Knicks, and had a standing offer to join them, reports the Post's Marc Berman.
Baskonia competes in Liga ACB and the EuroLeague and has former NBAers Rodrigue Beaubois, Shane Larkin, and Chase Budinger on the roster.
