Draymond: LeBron's Halloween party made Finals personal

Draymond Green isn't one to forget a slight.

The outspoken Warriors forward revealed that Golden State used LeBron James' infamous Halloween party as a source of motivation during this year's Finals, claiming it was constantly at the back of his and his teammates' minds.

"You remember," Green told Sam Amick of USA TODAY Sports. "It's not that it's bothering you to the point where you're defeated or anything like that, but you're definitely going to remember it. And we remembered it. That's why this whole thing was personal."

With the Warriors now on top, Green says he won't hold back in the coming months, but will be a little more creative with his smack talk toward the Cavaliers.

"I won't throw a Halloween party," he said. "If I want to take more shots (at the Cavs), I'll take them in a different way."

While The Finals may be over, Green and James have continued their war or words off the court, as the pair traded jabs on social media Thursday.

"Yeah, that was funny; that was real funny," Green said of LeBron's post. "It's all in good fun. At the end of the day, it was a great series. We were able to prevail. They won last year. Just for him to have that response shows his character, to obviously not be down by the fact (that they lost). Light jokes. I think that was pretty cool."
