Florida Atlantic indefinitely suspended last year's leading receiver, Kalib Woods, following his arrest Tuesday on multiple felony battery charges, according to Matthew DeFranks of The Sun Sentinel, citing the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office's online records.

The records state that the offense in question occurred Jan. 13, and that the warrant for his arrest was signed May 31 - five days after information had been filed.

"We are aware of the matter with Kalib Woods," an FAU spokesperson said. "He was suspended from the team on Tuesday and will remain suspended pending the outcome of the charges."

Woods hauled in 68 passes for 934 yards last season as a redshirt junior.
