Report: Bulls to trade No. 38 pick Jordan Bell to Warriors

With the No. 38 pick in Thursday's NBA draft, the Chicago Bulls selected Oregon big man Jordan Bell and will reportedly send him to the Golden State Warriors in exchange for cash, sources told The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Golden State reportedly gave up $3.5 million for the draft rights to Bell - the maximum amount one team can spend in a single trade - according to ESPN's Zach Lowe.

Bell averaged 10.9 points on 63.6 percent shooting in his junior year with the Ducks, but his NBA value lies far from the offensive end.

The 22-year-old lacks the shooting and overall offensive skill set required of modern-day power forwards, and doesn't exactly possess elite-level size, but his quickness, bounce, and consistent motor make him a tantalizing defensive prospect.

Bell averaged 8.8 rebounds, 2.2 blocks, and 1.3 steals in his final season at Oregon, and projects as a solid rim-protector and rebounder.
