Ex-Miami QB Jack Allison announces transfer to West Virginia

Jack Allison's time at Miami may not have worked out as he'd hoped, but after that door closed, another one opened.
The former four-star quarterback, who left the Hurricanes in April, will transfer to West Virginia, he announced Tuesday via Twitter.
Despite not seeing a single minute of game action last season, Allison was ranked the No. 68 overall recruit on the ESPN 300 for the class of 2016 as well as the No. 6 pocket-passing recruit in the nation.
The native of Palmetto, Fla., will be required to sit out a year to accommodate the NCAA's transfer restrictions before suiting up for the Mountaineers.
