Braves' Matt Wisler: Takes loss in second game of doubleheader
Wisler (0-1) gave up four runs on six hits and three walks while striking out seven over six innings in a loss to the Mets in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader.
Analysis:
It wasn't a disastrous outing by any means -- after all, Wisler held the Mets scoreless through four -- but he was still easily outdueled by Steven Matz on the other side. Added as the 26th man for the twin bill, Wisler figures to head right back down to Triple-A Gwinnett. He may pitch out of the bullpen upon his eventual return, as he did during his prior stints with the big club this season.
