A pair of daring set pieces from Leigh Griffiths put Scotland within reach of a dramatic win Saturday over eternal rival England.
If only it had lasted.
The Celtic striker picked a fantastic moment to score his first two senior international goals, curling in two spectacular free-kicks in the 87th and 90th minutes.
Griffiths sent his first to Joe Hart's left before launching the second to the goalkeeper's right.
That gave Scotland a late 2-1 lead over the travelling Three Lions, and sent Hampden Park into a mad frenzy.
But England captain Harry Kane spoiled the party with a side-footed finish in the 93rd minute to seal an unexpected 2-2 draw.
