Quick hits from Friday's St. Jude Classic

Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

Top quote - Brooks Koepka

"I felt like I could've shot 60 today," Koepka told the Golf Channel after a second-round 66. "Left a bunch of putts in the center of the cup, and I haven't made too many this week. If you're going to put a wedge in my hand just about every hole, I feel like I have a real good chance to shooting that."

Best round - Adam Scott

Scott rebounded from a disappointing 71 on Thursday, posting a 6-under-par 64. The Aussie made an eagle, five birdies, and just one bogey to shoot his lowest round since the third round of the WGC-HSBC Champions.

"I was striking it really good yesterday, and struck it better today," Scott told the Golf Channel. "It was just a matter of staying patient."
