Watch: Mookie robs Carter of HR with assist from fan

You've got to hand it to Mookie Betts.

It looked for a moment like New York Yankees first baseman Chris Carter had crushed his second home run of the game off Boston Red Sox starter Rick Porcello.

Instead, Betts, with perhaps a little assistance from an overzealous fan, made an incredible leaping catch. Had the fan not funneled the ball into Betts' glove, Carter likely wouldn't have rounded the bases.

The play was not reviewed, and the sixth inning was over. And since the catch counted, it was the sixth homer Betts has stolen since 2014, according to ESPN Stats & Info. That's the most in baseball.
