Report: Maclin leaving Bills meeting without deal, will visit Ravens
The recruiting efforts of LeSean McCoy and Tyrod Taylor weren't enough to lock Jeremy Maclin down on the first opportunity.
Maclin is leaving the Buffalo Bills' facility without a deal and will now travel to meet with the Baltimore Ravens, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Buffalo could very well still be in prime position to land the recently released receiver, as getting the first visit can only be taken as a positive sign, but the Ravens now have the opportunity to make sure he doesn't leave the building.
Maclin, released by the Kansas City Chiefs in a surprise move over the weekend, would be a major upgrade to the thin receiving corps of either team this season.
Upon landing with the Chiefs on a five-year, $55-million deal in 2015, the former Philadelphia Eagles first-rounder racked up 87 receptions for 1,088 yards and eight touchdowns.
The 29-year-old was limited by injuries last season, making just 12 starts and being held to 44 receptions for 536 yards and a pair of scores.
