At long last, Ousmane Dembele is bound for Barcelona.

On Friday, Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund reached an agreement that will see Dembele join the Blaugrana. The deal is valued at €105 million plus add-ons, which are worth a maximum of 40 percent of the fixed compensation.

The French winger will ink a five-year contract, and his buyout clause is set at €400 million.

Dembele will arrive on Sunday and undergo a medical, sign his contract, and be officially presented on Monday.

Speaking at a news conference, Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde said, according to ESPN FC's Stephan Uersfeld: "Dembele gives us width, something we lost and we needed. He can play left or right, or even through the middle, he is quick and he is technically good. We hope he's going to add a lot to the team. We're really excited to have him."

By virtue of the transfer fee, Dembele is the second-most expensive footballer on the planet, only ranking behind Neymar, who left a hole for the product of Stade Rennais to fill by joining Paris Saint-Germain in a €222-million move.

Rennais, the club that scouted Dembele when he was only 8 years old, is pocketing approximately €40 million from its sale of the footballer, €15 million of which is reportedly what Dortmund paid the French club in 2016.

It should be noted that, in April 2016, Sport reported Barcelona could sign Dembele for €5 million.

Dembele tallied six goals and 12 assists in 32 Bundesliga appearances. Nobody under 21 years old tallied as many assists in Europe's top five leagues last season, while 10 were scored by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, making them the most lethal duo in Europe's top five divisions.

At Barcelona, Dembele will wear the No. 11 vacated by Neymar.
