Horsey McHorseface is winless no more.
The 3-year-old, who boasts arguably the best name in all of horse racing, claimed victory at the Arthur Thompson Memorial Maiden Plate at Cessnock Racecourse in New South Wales, Australia.
Co-owner Joe Rosetti came up with the name Horsey McHorseface as a tribute to Boaty McBoatface, the top choice in a public poll to name a British polar research ship.
"Joe's a good bloke and he's a good horse - we just thought it would be a good fit," trainer Bjorn Baker told CNN.
I'm not just a horsey face! I can gallop too 🐎🐴😉 #HorseyMcHorseface Contact Jack for more information: 0427088008 pic.twitter.com/J9ZmJ633vN
