Watch: Michael Jordan's infamous shrug game was 25 years ago today

It was the shrug seen around the basketball world, as iconic Chicago Bulls figure Michael Jordan even amazed himself as he lit up the Portland Trail Blazers from behind the arc.

When you're hot, you're hot, and Jordan was en fuego shooting the rock in the first half of Game 1 of the 1992 NBA Finals, connecting on six 3-pointers in the opening two quarters alone.

What made the performance all the more extraordinary was that he wasn't much of a long-range marksman. During Chicago's 67-win campaign, Jordan - who took home league Most Valuable Player honors that year - only converted 27 percent of his 1.3 3-point attempts per game.

Jordan's shrug after his sixth make is undoubtedly one of the most legendary Finals images of all time. Portland was blown out by 33 points to begin the series, with His Airness finishing with 39 points (35 in the first half, setting a Finals record) in 34 minutes of action.
