Watch: Bill Snyder claims Corey Sutton has failed 2 drug tests

Scott Sewell / USA TODAY Sports

The drama between Corey Sutton and Bill Snyder took another turn on Thursday evening, as the Kansas State head coach told Andrew Carter of KCTV-5 that the wide receiver has failed two drug tests while at the school.

The comments come after a tumultuous few days between the two parties as Sutton attempts to obtain his release from the program. Sutton alleges he provided a list of 35 potential schools he would transfer to, but the school denied his release for all programs on the list.

Snyder came out earlier Thursday saying Sutton was free to leave but he would not be released, meaning he cannot accept financial aid at his new school for at least a year.

The relevancy of Sutton's failed drug tests is questionable, as one would assume that would lead Snyder to want the receiver out of the program, not deny his release.
