Porzingis' Instagram advances blocked at the rim

It's not often that 7-foot-3 Knicks big man Kristaps Porzingis gets rejected.

Like many young adults, the 21-year-old Latvian has taken to social media to expand his romantic horizons. But things got awkward when Porzingis started dropping emojis in the comment section of one young woman's Instagram post.

Compounding the issue, the object of his affection wasn't having any of it. User "ines_nikic" put an end to Porzingod's advances with a follow-up post - a taunting rejection of the young star.

The caption translates to "Are you sleeping well, Kristaps Porzingis," a nod to the user's apparent lack of interest and commitment to someone else.

In defense of Porzingis, who will make over $20 million on his rookie deal before likely signing a massive extension to stay in one of the biggest media markets in the world, he'll probably sleep just fine.
