The University of Maryland's mascot just happens to be a Retriever, and during Sunday night's contest against the University of Maine Athletics, they caught a pair of baserunners in no-man's land.
The Retrievers ended up winning the game in extra innings, earning the first America East championship in program history. The victory also clinched a berth in the NCAA D1 College World Series.
For the record, the unorthodox double play was scored 1-5-2-3-6.
