Marco Verratti isn't planning to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer, while Blaise Matuidi admitted he's unsure about his future in the French capital.

Speculation about Verratti persisted throughout the season, with reports suggesting he's attracted interest from clubs in his native Italy, which his agent subsequently denied.

After helping PSG capture the Coupe de France on Saturday, the 24-year-old remained adamant that he's not trying to engineer a move away, and insisted he's content with life in the capital.

"It's the club that decides, but I think I'll be there (next season)," Verratti told reporters, according to ESPNFC. "Afterward we will talk with the club like every year.

"I still have four years of contract and I do not think to leave. I am very happy to be a part of this project and I have always said that winning with PSG is different from winning with all the other teams because I have been here for five years and I would really like to win something very important here at Paris."

Conversely, Matuidi, whose contract expires in 2018, was unwilling to provide assurances but revealed a "proposition" from the club is on the table.

"I don't know yet," he said. "I am feeling good in Paris. It's hard as you don't know the real position of the club.

"PSG made a proposition to me. They are open to everything when it comes to me. There is no decision taken so far."

Matuidi, 30, was close to leaving last summer before PSG allegedly blocked a €22-million transfer to Juventus.
