Here's exactly why you don't carelessly toss a home run ball back onto the field.

In the ninth inning of Saturday's game between the Minnesota Twins and Tampa Bay Rays, one Twins fan at Target Field was so disgusted by Colby Rasmus' home run, he made a show of it by throwing it back on the field.

While things would have likely been fine had he just aimed at empty space, his minor bother nearly turned into a much bigger problem as his throw came close to hitting Twins second baseman Brian Dozier, who was clearly caught off guard by the ball landing just next to him.

Understandably, Target Field staff then escorted the fan in question out of the stadium.

Next time, just give the ball to a kid, dude.
